In 1997 GigshotZ were formed … to take shots of Gigs!

Back in those days they were stills, and we made a small income out of selling those shots to event organisers and bands
By 2000 the democratisation of photography happened, with bands etc. being able to get their buddies to take pictures with their increasingly sophisticated smart phone, so we swapped to doing videos

That went well until around 2010, the video quality of those smartphones got better and better, so again, we had to change, so we started to focus on multi-camera shoots

The number of cameras increased each year, untill by 2020 we had 22 cameras which enabled us to get every angle – each performer, groups, above, the drummers feet, the audience reaction etc. etc.

Those cameras were constantly updated, so we now have all cameras to the latest specification – 4k, 5.4k, 6k, 8k and drones(we have a CAA license)

But that wasn’t good enough, we had to evolve again as the power of shorts, and social media in general became more and more important
That required a change in the way the content was created, and we continue to evolve those methods as circumstances and trends changed

To date we have produced over 1200 videos at 270 events ranging from village halls to festivals with 18,000 people
