A lot of rubbish has been talked about in the media about how bad the mud was at Download 2016. This is what it was really like:
On Wednesday and Thursday, it was glorious sun – I got sunburn even with Factor 50 suntan cream on
On Friday at mid-day it started to rain, which was more or less continuous through to Sunday morning. On Sunday, there was 2 hours of light rain.
