Motion from Poetry – The Echo

 Sometimes you have to stand back and think about what you are doing
You are taught that any photograph should show context and emotion when you do the course, but that sometimes misses the point

Sometimes the story isn’t about what IT is , but what impact IT is having on the people surrounding the image

Music is a great example of this. Some performers play for their own enjoyment, but many play to influence the mental state of those who listen

Some music makes you sad, some makes you happy, or smile, or want to dance

So it was with this in mind that I took these shots of The Echo and a gig in the Hare and Hounds, Sonning Common

They were designed to show the impact of what they were doing rather just showing them doing it
