When I was younger, I commonly didn’t know what bands and artists looked like. If I missed them on “Top of the Pops”, YouTube didn’t exist, DVD’s hadn’t been invented, and NME (A music magazine), didn’t cover everyone.

It was so bad that I commonly didn’t even know the gender of the singer (I was convinced that the lead singer of Rush was female up until a few months ago!)

One of the artists that I knew the music of, but didn’t know anything more was Sonia Evans

I knew “You’ll never stop loving me”, “Better the Devil you know” and “You’ve got a friend”, but had no idea what the singer looked like

Well, I found out when I was doing the photos Sonia and many other 80’s acts at Wembley Arena at the 80’s rewind event. She’s very pretty and still has a great voice
