Sam Brown’s International Ukulele club
Last December I was asked to do the lighting design and operation for Sam Brown’s International Ukulele Club of Sonning Common, who were performing at The Kenton Theatre
I thought, “well, as I’m there, I might as well do a live performance video of it on a couple of locked off cameras” so I did
I was reminded of it recently when I went to the theatre for a comedy evening, and noticed that they are playing there again this year, so I dragged it off my disc drives and here it is. Great fun!
What blew me away the most was that the performers are all amateurs – doctors, accountants, builders, marketers, mums and dads etc. but they put on a really professional show to a completely packed house
