Bloodstock Open Air (BOA) festival photography

Bloodstock

Bloodstock (BOA) Festival is a medium sized (10-15,000) metal focussed festival held in the grounds of Catton Hall each year in August.

It’s has a great reputation for friendliness and great bands, and is us “Must do event” for us here at GigshotZ.

On this occasion we weren’t official event photographers or in the video crew, but had free passes because we we doing a  video documentary of one of the bands that were playing there.

Because of the reasonable crowd sizes, it’s always easy to stand somewhere where you can get a great view – down the front of you like mosh pits, or further back for a quieter time.

These were just some of the bands performing there.
